The Trikke eV6.1 is TÜV approved and has a "Strassen Zulassung" for Germany. The riders need a Mofa drivers license and at 25km/h a helmet. It is situated directly on the Germany border and has an excellent infrastructure: the A7and A31 expressways, numerous waterways, an airport and also a rail connection with Germany. The construction of “Oldambtmeer” lake (over 800 hectares.) has given the region not only a beautiful residential area ( Blauwestad), but also a multiple economic impulse, which includes recreational and tourism developments. The nature and extent of the large-scale agricultural sector forms the basis for promising developments in terms of the bio-based economy. Climate and Energy Oldambt is a municipality with: - a diverse historical landscape and new water; - beautiful panoramic views, monumental buildings in a wide open landscape; - new nature and strong agricultural roots. - The Dollard area has world heritage status. There is no place for large-scale wind farms in this landscape, and we are therefore focusing on other forms of renewable energy: solar, hydro, biomass and geothermal options.
